Hi, I'm Kristin.
With more than 20 years of experience in human services and the developmental disabilities field, combined with specialized experience in grant writing and management, I help organizations secure funding, strengthen programs, and expand their impact through strategic grant development and nonprofit support.
Throughout my career, I have successfully secured more than $1.5 million in grant funding and oversee the full grant lifecycle from funding research and proposal development to implementation, reporting and compliance. This hands-on experience allows me to bring both strategic insight and practical knowledge to every organization I support.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, both from McDaniel College. Since 2017, I have served on the Board of Directors for Listen Love Pray Foundation and currently serve as Vice President. In this role, I support an organization dedicated to bringing hope, healing, recovery support, and Christ-centered care to individuals within the community.
My educational background, combined with years of professional and nonprofit experience, has given me firsthand insight into the challenges nonprofit organizations, community programs, and service providers face every day. I understand the importance of sustainable funding, strong community partnerships, and mission-driven work because my career has been centered on supporting individuals and organizations committed to improving lives.
